Our Vandercook SP-15, whom we lovingly call Vandy, came to us from Canada a few years ago. Built back in 1962, we adore the vintage charm he brings to our studio today. We’ve gotta respect him – he’s our hardest worker here at Alee&Press!

When we say that letterpress is a labor of love, we really aren’t kidding! Every single piece designed from Alee & Press has been meticulously hand-crafted down to the last detail. A real, live human – one of us! – has personally fed each piece through this press. It’s a labor-intensive process, but having such control over each piece is what makes our letterpress stand out.  Vandy has left his mark on every invitation and announcement we’ve made — there’s really nothing else out there like the unique, tactile art of letterpress.
